Events in Term Two

Primary 3b has had a very busy and exciting term.  We have continued to fundraise for the Guide Dogs and we are thrilled to announce a cheque for £300.00 will be sent to the Guide Dog Headquarters in Reading before Christmas.  We are looking forward to hearing back form them.  The money was raised from a Cake and Candy sale, A 'Guess the Puppies' Birthday' competition and an upcoming Raffle.  We are very grateful to everyone who has helped and donated prizes.

Our topic based on 'The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark' was very popular.  The pupils took a great interest in the habitats and habits of these nocturnal creatures.

Health Day Two was a big hit!! The children particularly enjoyed the relaxation room which was set up in Room 11.  This was followed by Tae Kwon Do which proved to be physically very challenging.  In the afternoon they attended a football festival at Manhattan Works which was a fitting finale to the football sessions they had been attending previously in school.

Primary 3 are looking forward to performing in our Nativity Play, they have been 'Busy Busy...'  rehearsing and are sure to perform well.
