Primary 3b - Term 3 News
Primary 3b had great fun at the 'Ultimate Dogdeball' tournament which was in aid of The British Heart foundation. They embraced the opportunity to participate with children from Primary 1 to Primary 3 in mixed age and ability teams and showed an impressive approach to competitive sport.
The children were very enthusiatic about their topic regarding 'The Vikings'. They thoroughly enjoyed learning how to draw a viking longship courtesy of Shoo Rayner, a Norwegian artist. Primary 3b demonstrated a flair for ICT, completing interactive viking games on the BBC website. Some of the children brought in some fantastic homemade crafts and information which had been set for homework.
We received a second 'Pupdate' from 'The Guide Dog Association', the children were amazed at the progress both physically and in terms of guiding ability of the three pups. We hope to do one last fundraising event in the summer term.
