Term 3

Term 3 has been an extremely busy one for Primary 2b.  We have been learning all about the past through our Castles project and we have even built our very own castle fort.  Everyone was most imaginative and creative when it came to using the medieval figures (I think the knights jousting was the best!).  Our homework was to build a 3D castle and decorate it.  These looked wonderful in corridor.

In maths we have been learning about money.  Our class shop has been very popular as we work out how much we are spending and how much change we need to get back.  We can also now add and subtract tens and units as vertical sums!  Mrs Robertson is very impressed with us all.

We made a beautiful display for Lent after learning about its true meaning.  Having reflected on this we then displayed our Lenten promises for the class to share.

When we are reading aloud to the class, we are thinking about our expression and fluency.  Mrs Robertson says that we are becoming storytellers!

Our visit to Showcase the Street for the Tesco Bank Football was very popular with everyone.  The children had a fantastic afternoon, learning new skills and meeting new people.  Three people have even been chosen to visit Hampden from our class.
